On Easter Sunday morning, my family was at the LBI Shore visiting family on vacation. I saw an ad in the paper for a special Easter Egg Hunt. This was a hunt that involved special eggs with COUPONS in them! For some reason, that caught my attention! The egg hunt started at sunrise and there were about 40 eggs placed all over the island. Logan and I woke up first that morning and I noticed that it was raining. Score! No one else would be out in the rain looking for Easter eggs! Logan and I threw on our rain coats and headed to the closest location listed in the ad. I parked the car and began to walk all over the beach. I didn’t find any eggs, but right as we were about to get into the car Logan turned a different way. He saw something blue and it turned out to be an official MELTDOWN Easter egg! He found the first one and it had a coupon inside for free ice cream at The MELTDOWN! We ended up finding 7 eggs but took only 4, (one per child at the shore house.) I had a blast making a memory with Logan. It reminded me of when I was a child, my dad used to take me on spur of the moment adventures. I remember running all over town looking for a radio station. The station had me bowl with a fruitcake to win tickets to a local concert!
