We’ve found a place to hang out when the weather is too cold or too wet outside~ McDonalds! Since we live in the country, it is actually the only playscape within a 20 mile radius of our home.

While at McDonalds we found that kids get a free tiny “kiddie” ice cream cone. They give each child one cone every time we go, we just have to ask. It’s the perfect size for a toddler. I am not sure if this deal is good at all locations so you will have to check with your local McDonalds for more details!

I’ve secretly wanted to go back to the original color of my hair the past few months. To my delight, I got an email from my friend Maria from Little Klippers and she offered to do a “test run” on my hair for a free color class. She’s certified in hair color and she knows everything there is to know about hair color.  Two sessions and five hours later, she taught me a ton! Now as a bargain shopper, it is really hard for me to go and spend $70-100 every six weeks on coloring my hair. I mean, my husband is getting his phd and that is some serious grocery money. Maria had the idea to teach her customers to color their own hair at home. So after her class, which is about bargain at $65, you can buy your color and apply it yourself for $8.99 baby! If you live in Connecticut and you would like more info on what Maria’s classes, go here! Next, I am up for just a few highlights! Here are before and after pictures!
