Our must have grocery item that is a total splurge is olives. Not canned black or green, but real olives. I have never found a coupon for them so they were out of the budget for a long time.

yes, april is right. (i should have read these comments earlier!!) we didn’t realize this (as it says NOTHING about it on the “free” membership card) and spent a couple of hours finding great deals at Sams, only to find out when we were checking out that they charged us 10%. we returned our stuff and got our money back. not our two hours though.
i will be calling Sams and complaining. it’s fine to charge the 10%, but they need to put that on the card so we’ll know what to expect. frustrating!!
