WalMart Deals

I need your help with WalMart deals! I am excited about price matching. (That is when you bring other grocery store ads to WalMart so they can price match it and give you the competitor’s price.) Where do you get your competitor’s ads? I get one tied to my mailbox on Fridays.
The Centsible Sawyer has a huge list of great WalMart deals!

Sometimes I get ads out of the paper, but Walmart usually posts competitors ads for price matching.

I used to get the paper, but I never read it, so I decided it was a waste of money. Now I wait for ads to come in the mail.

I usually get the competitor ads in the Sunday paper. I don’t get the paper on a regular basis, but buy it on Sundays to get all of the coupons and ads. I figure it’s worth the $1.75 in order to potentially save much more. Then I just go through and circle what I can find and then cut them out as I go. I usually try and keep all my competitor items last on the checkout belt so I can prepare my checker that I have a pile of competitor ads (which I find they usually hate – oh well!). Sometimes the ads are great, but a lot of times, Wal-Mart’s prices are still better.

Ditto as Laura said, we only get the Sunday paper. I like the ads and my hubby reads the comics and everything else. I’ve also found that typically Wal-Mart’s prices beat everyone else’s sale prices. (Or their store-brand is MUCH cheaper.)

In our area, most of the grocery stores have their ads in the Wednesday paper; non-grocery stores on Sunday.
I’ve never been to a Wal-mart that posted competitor’s ads–generally you have to tell the cashier on each item, plus show them the ad in most cases.

bummer half of those offers aren’t allowing you to print the coupons anymore.
