I wanted to share my story with you about how I got my interview with CBS news. It was a very sweet gift to me.

Not long ago, Heather at Freebies4Mom and Erin at CouponCravings had great news interviews. I had just listened to Erin’s newscast on NPR News and I was literally jumping up and down inside for her. I was so excited! I had a little conversation with God. If you were listening you might have heard something like this: “That is so awesome that Erin got this interview! I am so excited for her! Oh my goodness! God if you ever want to do something like that for me, please do so!” Then God “wow”ed me. About two hours later I checked my email. I had an email in my inbox from CBS News. Elsie Nolan wanted to meet and interview me on bargain shopping. What?! I’m not really sure how many times, I’ve thanked God for my interview, but to me it was the most precious and priceless gift he could have given me. He revealed to me that as stay at home and work at home moms, He is waiting to bless our lives and make them extremely fun and exciting. We just have to depend on Him in our daily routine and spend time with Him. During our special times with Him, He wants us to share the desires of our heart!

I drove to Boston and had my interview at my good friend Lauren’s house. It was an amazing experience. Paula Ebben and Elsie were so nice. I almost fell out of my chair when they told me that they contacted me because, The Coupon Mom, was unavailable. I drove home and patiently waited 4 weeks for my interview to air. (My husband is a saint for surviving those weeks!) You can watch the interview here!  I found out that right about the time that I prayed for an interview Elsie Nolan googled “bargain shopper boston,” found my website, and decided to email me. So it just goes to show, God owns google. Oh He does!
