Have you ever heard your local radio station talk about a “half price hook up?” If not, you should go on your local radio station’s website and check to see if they have any kind of special deals. My local station has a Half Price Hook Up and another one has someting called “Deals on Demand.” I was able to get a $50 gift certificate for $15 to my local spa! They are usually half price but they were an extra $10 off, (so $25-$10 = $15). Normally I would not go and get a pedicure unless I was given a gift or if it was something special so this was a huge find for me! These would make great teachers gifts, as mine was an authentic gift certificate. For $15, I was able to get a pedicure, an eye brow wax and have a nice few hours out without kids! It was also perfect timing right before my interview with CBS Boston news! (Because my feet and eyebrows needed some attending to before an interview!) The interview went well and they said that it will air sometime before Thanksgiving week when they talk about Black Friday deals. I also got to see my good friend Lauren from high school who lives in the Boston area, because she let us tape the interview at her house!
