I have to take my national boards Tuesday as part of a recertification process in order to practice as a health care provider. I must pass as I am the breadwinner in the family..so the pressure makes me a little nervous. Also, the Tropical Storm, Fay, could postpone my test and I am ready to just get it over with and stop my nerves going crazy. Thanks BSL.

Hello! Thank you for checking in with me on the headaches. They are SO much better! Like 95% better. Praise God. I started seeing a chiropractor and it has done wonders for me. Thank you so much for your prayers. I know that many people have prayed for me and God was faithful.
As far as a prayer request goes, we could really use prayer for our financial situation. Thank you so much!

You are too sweet. Starting our new homeschool year soon. The 25th. This week I am busy organizing and lesson planning. It really stresses me out every year and I start to freak out and be a huge crab when it comes close to school starting. Pray for my sanity!

“The Bargain Shopper Lady asked about my husband. Back in July - and bear with me if I posted this before - we thought that his test results were a fluke, so the doctor ordered a re-test. No fluke; the numbers from the re-test were higher than those taken when Phil started chemo back in April. Bummer. So he’s back on chemo every week, but his platelets are falling, a common side effect of the drug he’s getting, and we’re not sure how low they can go before the doctor holds treatment for a week or two, something we’re not anxious to have happen as we’re afraid the cancer will gain ground.
“Despite the fatigue, which is growing worse, Phil maintains a positive attitude, and his faith in His God holds steady. I’m sure it helps that he does the dishes several times a week. Right?”

I have a house that needs to be sold. I don’t want to go into foreclosure and I would love to make a profit to be able to buy another house for my family and I that isn’t too beat up.

One of our youth shared a prayer request with me today that i would like to ask for prayer.
One of her friends was run over by a car on Friday and has 2 broken legs and will be undergoing surgery this week. Please pray for her and her family as well as the youth that asked for prayer, she was quite upset for her friend this morning.

Your post brought tears to my eyes as I realized what wonderful people there are in the world to offer to pray for others. And since you offered…I am just going to spill it.
There are several ways you can pray for me. We have had some major struggles in our church this year where my husband is the pastor. We believe my mother is battling a mental illness which has worsened during the past few months. I am facing a crossroads in my life where I need to decide whether to face my past and confront my estranged father or move on with my life. And, finally…I turned 28 yesterday, and I have decided that there are several things about myself that I don’t like and that it’s high time I change them and leave my excuses behind. I believe this will help me be a better wife, mother, and friend. But I need God’s strength to do this. My children, especially, depend on it since I am a SAHM and who I am is molding them into who they are becoming.

I’m a SAHM that seems to struggle with a very sweet and precocious two year old. She is the light of my life and knows just what to do to push my buttons…and make me melt.
My husband and I are also trying for baby number two. The timing would be awesome if it happened now, but I know it will only happen when He thinks that it’s the right time.
These are the two things that are on my prayer list for our family right now.

The kids are transitioning from summer school (day care) to full time school. I pray that the transition is easy for them and they are comfortable in their new schools. May they be blessed with loving teachers and good friends.

Please pray for my wife’s grandfather, he is having his 4th back surgery in 3 years. They are concerned he may not even survive surgery because his blood pressure is so high they’re concerned if they put him under he may not return. Thanks.

Please pray for my husband. We are getting a divorce and he has finally admitted that he has an addiction to drugs. He says he is going to change and make a better life for himself, but I told him I cannot be there anymore to help him…I have found out that he is still doing the drugs…that was less than a week of him telling me he has changed his ways….He so needs everyones prayers….Thank you for asking, I have been praying for you and your family as well. Thx for stopping by my blog to see how I am doing. Wish the past couple of months were different. I suffered a stroke on June 15th, father’s day. I’m 35 years old… NOT suppose to happen to someone like me. My cholestrol was over 220. UGH! I was/am so lucky to have such wonderful people in my life praying for me in so many ways.
