Much cheaper than an anniversary vacation and we won't even have to spend that much on gas! (oh, and we have coupons for the golf course!) We sent the kids away on Friday night. Went shopping for great fondue ingredients. Made a fire at home and had a 3 course fondue meal. Slept in until we woke up the next morning. Went to a movie and window shopping. Parked ourselves at a coffee house with a good book. Picked up the kids and take out for dinner. It was so relaxing!! I recommend it highly. I have read bits and pieces and it is great.. We have actually slept in a different room (when we used to have a guest room)....it made me feel like I was on vacation as well as having my own private bathroom.
