All the time, GOD is Good. I tore my ACL three weeks ago playing soccer. And even in this I'm re-learning how good God is. I was feeling sorry for myself and read the first chapter of Job in response. And I was once again struck by Job's initial response to his misfortune: "At this, Job got up and tore his robe and shaved his head. Then he fell to the ground in worship 21 and said: "Naked I came from my mother's womb, and naked I will depart. [c] The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away; may the name of the LORD be praised." " EVERYTHING we have comes from God, and he is always glorified in all that He does. GOD is Good, All the time.
All the time, GOD is Good.

Let your praise be heard! My children are a neverending reminder of God's glory and mercy in my life. My husband and I suffered through the the passing of our two infant daughters two years apart. A friend of mine helped me to put all of my heart into God's hands and give him all of my pain. Only months later, we were chosen to become the adoptive parents of a baby girl who was about to be born. She is now almost 3 and amazing and the best big sister of our son whom we also adopted at birth and is about to turn one. Now tell me, how could you ever doubt a God who is that good and merciful? This is coming from a woman whose heart was shattered and hurt right down to my bones. I truly doubted that I would ever even smile again. God is awesome! Never underestimate miracles. Amen to all of that! Let your praise be heard!

I realized as I was preparing to share my story all that God has been teaching me in the past nine months. The biggest lesson I have learned is that God is good. Yes, I know, very basic and something that all christians should know and believe. I said it, but I didn't really believe it. Through doing two Bible Studies (He Speaks to Me and Discerning the Voice of God - by Priscilla Shirer) and through hearing Beth Moore speak at a Deeper Still event, I realized that I had to move past my devastation of the Lord because of a tragedy in my life over 12 years ago. I realized that I really did not think God was good and therefore did not trust him completely and believe that he really did want what is best for me. But PRAISE THE LORD God has removed the veil of unbelief and has shown me that he is good and I can trust him all the time in every circumstance - even the worst circumstances. What a difference this has made in my life. Things have not gotten easier, but I have totally changed my outlook - to God be the glory for that! I just love hearing the stories of what he has done (like in the case of your house). He has done exceedingly abundantly more than I could ever ask or imagine in the past nine months. I pray that the ladies that read your blog will know and experience God like you have and like I have!! Thanks for sharing and for giving me a chance to share!!
