   Please pray for me, that God may change my heart to believe that he exists. I have struggled with this for a while and have prayed often that if he does exist, that he will change my heart, that I will believe with my heart and mind.

   Our newly adopted son is having cleft palate surgery on April 15. He’s almost two, which is a very difficult age for this surgery (but important for his language development.)

   Please also pray for a job for my husband. Currently two possibilities — one in ministry and another not in ministry. We need wisdom.

   Please pray for friends of mine that are 5 months pregnant. They found out last week that thier baby has Trisomy 18 (I think that’s what it’s called), which fatal. Their child will most likely be still born or live only hours. They need strength to get through this.

   Dear Friends,

   We have news. First of all, thank you for your prayers for Clem as he is still bravely battling inoperable cancer of the pancreas. In our last update, we reported that because Clem was not improving further, his oncologist was trying to get Clem connected with the Mary Crowley Cancer Research Center in Dallas. With God’s help and referrals from friends connected with MCCRC, Clem was able to be seen quickly by the doctor who is the executive director over the research department. We learned yesterday that Clem has qualified for one of the only three available spots. The treatment regime sounds “cutting edge,” very promising, and safe. We praise the Lord and continue to ask for God’s healing and comforting. Although the Research Center and treatment are ‘free,’ we just learned that we do have to post a substantial amount of money to cover for the charges that participating in such a project will incur: CT’s, MRI’s, etc. (Baylor Hospital charges are not part of the research program.) We know that God can provide. God has been faithful so far in meeting all of our needs. God has taken good care of Clem and all of us. We do not waver in believing that God will continue to meet our needs as He promised. “And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19) This particular sum is a significant amount and an imminent matter for prayer. We thank you for praying with us about everything lining up as it has and Clem’s being able to participate in this research trial. It is an amazing answer to prayer that this research option opened up for us at this time. Praise the Lord!

   How to pray: Overall, Clem is still weak, has little appetite, and is often very uncomfortable. The days and nights are a struggle for him and when he is awake, he is often in pain.

   Your prayers and support have encouraged and comforted all of us. There is no way for us to thank you. You have blessed our lives. We thank you for your visits, your notes, your words of encouragement, and for being here for us. Please continue to pray with us for God’s complete healing of Clem - even now before this experimental trial begins. We know that whatever means God uses to heal Clem will be to His glory alone. May God bless each of you.

   My boyfriend and I have been dating long distance for two years. He has been searching for a job for 9 months and has had no luck landing one. We need some prayers so we can finally be together and get married!

    A praise report from last time- Our daughter has decided not to move out of state and has
    shown some interest in going back to church. YEAH!!! God is good! She still needs a job and

    please pray that my baby is healthy. I previously had a stillborn really late in my pregnancy. I appreciate it so much!
