   Yes! Please pray that I will truly know and believe that God loves me….I know it intellectually but I want to know it in my heart…I don’t know why I struggle so with this…thank you so much!

   Thank you for praying for us!

   I love bargain shopping and saving money and all of those things, but I don’t want those activities to become like idols that I worship. Does that make sense? I want to keep my focus on God and what He wants me to do, and I don’t want to be so absorbed with finances.

   Can you pray for me over that issue? Thanks!

   Oooh, commenter #2 makes a great plea. I struggle with that too. Please pray for a new venture my husband and I are brewing regarding his pottery. I could share more details via email if you like, but God knows them; and we definitely want to follow His will in this matter. Thanks for asking!    this is pretty basic–nothing life-threatening, but it is frugality threatening! we just moved into our new (96 year old remodel) and really need for our other home to sell. please pray that we could get a firm and fair offer soon so that our attention can be undivided–at least in that area! thanks so much…how can i pray for you?

   btw, this ministry has been a huge blessing to me and my family. thanks!

   Thanks, Bargainshopperlady. Please pray for us as we wait to be matched with a birthmom to adopt a baby. I’m having a hard time not fretting about the finances. I know God will provide but the controller in me keeps trying figure out how He’s gonna do it. I sometimes wish we got a floodlamp for knowing God’s will instead of just “a lamp for our feet and a light for our path.” Please pray that I will trust God with EVERYTHING completely and that I’ll manage our budget and not worry. I’m grateful for you.

   My father-in-law, Clem Mueller, is in the fight of his life with inoperable pancreatic cancer. Our prayer is that the same god who heals would heal him from this.    For the conversion of my husband and for the Lord to show us both how to handle our finances. We struggle on what are the appropriate areas to spend our money, ie private vs public school for our son. You have a great website and it has helped me a great deal! Thanks for offering the prayers, we can never have enough!

   Please also pray for Heather at LazyD Ranch who recently lost her husband. She has 6 children, the youngest two having just completed their adoptions. She faith is an inspiration.

    That I would be the mom that God has called me to be. I have a son with Aspergers ( a form of autism) and my days are long and hard with him. I also have 2 younger daughters and I fret over them because of what I am going through with my son. Please pray for me to lay my hildren and all my expecations for them at the foot of the cross. Thank you for your prayers.

    Yes, please pray for us. I am leaving my job in mid-april to stay home with our son. My husband is concerned about how we will stretch his paycheck. I am trying to learn to be frugal but it is hard with the increasing costs of everything.

    Thank you so much for offering to bless us in this way. Our 23 year old daughter has just told my husband and I she is moving out of state. She has been on a downward spiral the last 6 months over a break-up. She has pulled away from her family and is pretty much a Lone Ranger right now. We just want God’s will for her life, not our will, and for her to find peace and true happiness. She is our only child and it hurts to think she’s leaving us.

    I can’t tell you how much I appreciate your money saving tips. I started frugally shopping after Christmas and I can’t believe the savings our family has reaped. Thank you.

    We sure could use prayer. My husband is facing his first relapse of an ultimately fatal cancer (Multiple Myeloma). He will begin treatment (IV chemo) soon. Also for financial pressures; we live on Social Security Disability plus a little long-term disability insurance as Phil hasn’t been able to work since his diagnosis in Dec. 2005. We’re also facing a forced switch to Medicare as Phil is on dialysis, and we’re trying to sort it all out, especially how much extra we’ll have to pay for it, and how our co-pays will be affected. My health isn’t good - I have moderately severe fibromyalgia, and am worried about keeping up with my husband’s treatment schedule.

    I’ve been reading your site everyday. It’s already apart of my daily routine. This is the first time I post and would appreciate if you could pray for me and my husband. We’ve been trying to have a baby. Hubby has some reproductive issues but we are still hoping that one day God will make a miracle and give us one.

    A job for my husband and for us to parent our children in a God-honoring way. We have recently adopted a 22-month old from China and it’s challenging. And God is good.

    WOW! I have been a long time lurker on your blog, but this brought me out. (I am already amazed at hte response you have gotten).

    We would appreciate praying for healing for my husband. His vision (he is going blind in one eye) and his back (it is to the point that he cannot even pick up his 22 month old son without screaming in pain). Thank you so much!     Please pray that my children will grow up to be thankful for what they have. Being a frugal shopper, I give my children all kinds of small trinkets that I get for almost free. I want to give them things only when I feel it is the right time so that they don’t take everything for granted and expect lots of material things in life. Thanks!

    Please pray for my family and I. God has gotten me through so much in my life. Without him, I have no idea where I would be. At this time, I have been having some medical difficulties and I am hunting for answers for my health to be improved. I have had several tests done but no answers. I ask for lots of prayers because I feel the power of prayers is the best thing I can ask for always!

    I would like to request prayers for my healing and warding off of cervical cancer. We think we caught everyting in time. Also, prayers for my career path. I am in a very viscoius, evil work environment and need prayers for strength to get through unscathed as I search for different employment.

    My prayers are with all of the other commenters.

    How awesome you are!!!

    Please pray for my 3 year old son who has Juvenile Diabetes (diagnosed in Sept ‘07) and his Identical twin brother who does not have it yet but we are told the odds are against him. I know this is medial but also if you would say a short quick prayer for me. To give me the strength, patience and guidance that I need in this journey. Up until recently he has done VERY well but he is starting to fight his shots and ithe lack of sleep is REALLY getting to mom. Also that everything works out with the house we are trying to buy so all 3 of my kids don’t have to share a room any longer!

    I’d like prayer for healing from the terrible migraine headaches I have been suffering. I am currently being treated by a chiropractor and I’m hoping that helps. But we all know who The Healer is! Thank you!!
